Interview with Eric Blinderman, International Litigation Counsel at Proskauer Rose and Owner of Mas (NYC restaurant)

Not only is Eric an amazing attorney passionate about international human rights at one of New York’s top law firms, Proskauer Rose, but he also owns one of New York’s hottest restaurants, Mas, which recently got Zagat’s highest rating.

I was very intrigued about Eric when I first read about him. What jumped off the page was that Eric helped put the war tribunal case against Saddam Hussein together, while opening a restaurant in NYC at the same time. I figured you had to be a pretty passionate person to do just one of those amazing things, but to do both at the same time, I thought “this guy is incredible.”

Passion, hard work, and really finding things that you love to do are the key characteristics that have kept Eric going. He really LOVES law. While so many people get law degrees as “a good background to have,” or maybe they only want to practice law for a few years, Eric is really passionate about it all, especially when it comes to issues that cross borders.
