Brad and Jason have been friends and business partners for a long time. They went to high school and college together, started a couple business together, split ways for a few years for consulting gigs, and are now back together working harder than ever on their latest company, Animoto. And let me tell you, it’s AMAZING. Animoto allows you to create slide shows to music, but slide shows that are actually incredible quality with cool transitions, hip music, and it’s SO EASY to use!
Their respective passion’s for entrepreneurship and technology coincide perfectly. My big take away from this interview though was Jason’s advice and interest in the importance of teams. Whether sports or businesses, Jason has had success on all fronts while creating and surrounding himself with incredible teams throughout his life. A solid team can provide support when things get tough, which they inevitably will, and provide a forum for intense collaboration and idea sharing. Whoever said “two heads are better than one” was right.
These guys really support each other through thick and thin, and I believe it’s that comradery that has really led to a lot of their success.
